“Does Johnny's IceHouse have public skating or open skating?”
No. Johnny's does not rent ice skates and doesn't host any public skating.
“Does Johnny's have open hockey times?”
Yes. Visit our Rat Hockey page for days and times. Fitness skate is also a great option that we offer."
“How can I get a team in your adult league”
Our adult leagues are invitation only and there is a waiting list. Contact Us to inquire about availability and/or to be placed on the waiting list.
“How do I sign up for a team as an individual?”
We don't do individual sign ups. Find out how to become a FREE AGENT.
“Does Johnny’s teach figure skating?”
Figure Skate Chicago Skating School has ice time on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Learn more at figureskatechicago.com.
“Are Blackhawks practices open to the public?”
Yes and they are free of charge. The garage is not available to park in during Blackhawks practices.

“Is there street parking around Johnny’s?”
Yes but watch for signs. You cannot park on the south side of Madison weekdays between 7:00am and 9:00am and you cannot park on the north side of Madison weekdays between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. That applies to both rinks.
For Johnny's East, free street parking is avialble on Madison, Loomis, and Washington.
