Johnny’s Junior Jets
Ages 4-10
Johnny’s Junior Jets will instill a love for ice hockey in your skater.
Junior Jets is the next step after successfully completing Beginner Learn to Skate and is for kids who intend to play hockey. Some children may be asked to complete Learn to Skate - Intermediate before advancing to our Junior Jets program.
Parents of children in Learn to Skate will be notified by the Coach if your child is ready to move up to Junior Jets. There are two levels of Junior Jets. Junior Jets 1 Beginner and Junior Jets 2 Intermediate/Advanced. Both classes focus on hockey skating and early hockey fundamentals to get your child ready for team play.
Johnny's Icehouse Jr. Jets Neck Protection Policy
Effective Date: October 2nd
In alignment with USA Hockey's updated safety guidelines, Johnny's Icehouse is requiring all participants enrolled in Jr. Jets 1 and Jr. Jets 2 to wear neck protection/guards during all on-ice activities, starting October 2nd.
To ensure the safety of all players, neck guards are mandatory and must be worn properly at all times while on the ice. This requirement is part of our commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all participants in our grassroots hockey programs.
Where to Purchase Neck Guards
For your convenience, neck guards are available for purchase at Shift Hockey's Pro-Shop, located upstairs at our West location.
We appreciate your cooperation in implementing this important safety measure and your continued participation in our Jr. Jets program. Together, we are committed to maintaining a fun, safe, and enjoyable hockey experience for everyone.
Thank you,
Johnny's Icehouse Management
